Power comes from Isuzu's 4HK1 turbo diesel, a 5,190cc inline four producing 240 PS and driving the rear wheels through a manual gearbox. The 4HK1 is one of the most respected medium duty diesels in the world, valued for its common rail efficiency, long service life and outstanding parts availability, so servicing this used Isuzu Forward stays simple almost anywhere it is exported. Twin rear wheels add stability under load.
