Toyota Reveals 2024 Camry with Hybrid Power and All-Wheel Drive Option

Toyota has unveiled the all-new 2024 Camry, featuring a bold, Prius-inspired design and a range of innovative technologies. The latest iteration of the popular mid-size sedan boasts hybrid power and, for the first time, optional all-wheel drive capability.

The exterior design showcases a striking new front-end design, with sleek taillights and a prominent trunk lip spoiler that accentuates the vehicle's sporty demeanor. The overall design is characterized by a carryover of key body and character lines from the previous model, while introducing a fresh, modern aesthetic.

In addition to its impressive exterior design, the new Camry comes equipped with Toyota's latest Safety Sense 3.0 suite, which includes advanced features such as a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist.

The spacious interior of the Camry offers ample room for adults to comfortably occupy both front and rear seats. The dashboard design is highlighted by a prominent trim piece that stretches from the passenger's side to the infotainment display. Standard amenities include cloth upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, and rear air vents.

Higher-trim XLE and XSE models add luxurious touches such as leather upholstery, heated seats, a heated steering wheel, ambient lighting, acoustic-laminated glass, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, and adjustable rear-seat headrests.

The new Camry hybrid powertrain is a key component of Toyota's Beyond Zero vision, aimed at reducing carbon emissions and promoting a cleaner future. The system combines a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and two electric motors with either front-wheel drive or electronic on-demand all-wheel drive capability. The suspension and brakes have been retuned and re-engineered to provide increased agility and responsiveness.

With the introduction of the 2024 Camry hybrid, Toyota has expanded its electrified model lineup to 19 vehicles, further solidifying its commitment to sustainable mobility.
